Va History is one of the best and this book is one of the best. It's informative, easy to read and has history that school books don't have anymore. Sad, our kids do NOT know correct history of their states or this country. For those wanting CORRECT Virginia history, this is a good one!/5(10).

Virginius Dabney's classic history of Virginia is a hard act to follow. This book attempts to review and update some of Dabney's work with recent scholarship, and it works well.
